Lumen Hire is a founder-led recruitment firm providing sourcing, screening, coordination, and hiring advisory services to technology companies.

Services

Lumen Hire provides recruitment services including but not limited to:

• Role calibration and hiring strategy
• Talent sourcing
• Candidate screening and evaluation
• Interview coordination
• Offer support
• Hiring advisory

Specific terms, pricing, and engagement structure (success fee, flat fee, or retainer) are defined in separate written agreements with clients.

Engagement Terms

• All recruitment engagements require a signed agreement before work begins.
• Fees, payment terms, guarantees (if applicable), and scope of services are governed by that written agreement.
• In the event of any conflict between these Terms and a signed client agreement, the signed agreement will prevail.

Candidate Information

• Lumen Hire presents candidates based on professional evaluation and available information.
• While we strive for accuracy and diligence, clients are responsible for conducting final interviews, verifying credentials, performing background checks, and making final hiring decisions.
• Lumen Hire does not guarantee candidate performance after hire.

Confidentiality

• Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality regarding candidate data, client hiring strategies, compensation information, and business information shared during engagement.
• Confidential information may not be disclosed without written consent unless required by law.

Fees and Payment

• Payment terms are defined in the signed client agreement.
• Failure to remit payment within agreed timelines may result in suspension of services.
• All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified in writing.

Replacement Guarantees

• Replacement guarantees, if offered, are defined in the signed engagement agreement.
• Guarantees may be void if payment terms are not met, role scope changes materially, or candidate termination is unrelated to performance or fit.

Limitation of Liability

• To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lumen Hire shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of revenue, loss of business opportunities, or post-hire employment disputes.
• Our liability shall not exceed the total fees paid for the specific engagement in question.

Website Use

Users agree not to misuse website content, attempt unauthorized access, or submit fraudulent inquiries.

All website content is the intellectual property of Lumen Hire.

Intellectual Property

All materials, frameworks, processes, branding, and content provided by Lumen Hire remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Governing Law

• These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada.
• Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Alberta unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Changes to These Terms

• Lumen Hire may update these Terms periodically.
• The latest version will always be available on this page.
